Home buyers identified a multi-unit property with two one bedroom, one bath, and kitchen units steps from Benning Road NE and the Benning Road Blueline Metro Station. Owners desired to convert the multi-unit to one single family three-bedroom, two baths and one-half bath. The project included maximizing existing structure, incorporating a separate exterior door and staircase from the second level, and totally demolishing interior walls keeping only floor joists, roof and staircase. Likewise, excess windows and doors were bricked up to provide additional wall space.
